1922 Purchase Farm
In 1922, the Nelissen-Werelds family settled here at this location and built the residence at No. 2. They had a small farm with a few cows, pigs, chickens and standard fruit trees.

Before it began in the farm pasture with sons Gaspard and Jef Nelissen (founders Camping De Bosrand), Cherry picking.
1956 Camping for the first time
And Cherry Picking became Camping. For the first time in the year 1956.
1964 Terrace & Shop
A store and a terrace appeared. In short, a new business was born!
Extensions in the 60's & 70's
From that time on, in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, the site continued to expand. All the pastures where cows used to graze were turned into camping areas. Washrooms were built, a playground was constructed, and a canteen and office were added.
The campground is beginning to take shape
The campground began to take shape, with improved facilities and a friendly atmosphere. This attracted more and more guests, who knew how to find the campground and enjoyed spending their vacations there. It became a popular place to camp.

2013 Construction of first chalets
Quite a step forward in history, the first chalets were built on the property. Guests could now, in addition to camping, rent a chalet to spend their vacations in. In 2016 and in 2017, the next two chalets were added.
Influx of new generation
The new generation has now entered the business, continuing the family tradition. For almost 70 years, the campsite has been managed with passion and dedication by the same family, with each generation ensuring innovation and maintaining quality.
