At Camping De Bosrand, sustainability is at the heart of our business. We believe that enjoying nature goes hand in hand with protecting it. Therefore, we have taken several initiatives to reduce our ecological footprint and make our guests aware of their impact on the environment.
Electric Charging
To encourage the use of sustainable means of transportation, we offer our guests a charging station for electric cars and e-buses. This allows them to easily charge their vehicles during their stay.
Energy from the sun
All of the buildings on our property are equipped with solar panels, generating a large portion of our energy needs sustainably. In addition, the showers in our washrooms are heated by solar water heaters, allowing our guests to enjoy hot water generated by the sun.
Waste separation and recycling
We take waste separation very seriously. The waste produced by both our guests and our company is carefully separated. Proceeds from scrap metal and waste paper go to local associations, supporting the community. Our residual waste is also processed into bio-based products, such as biofuel.
Natural materials and recycling
When setting up and maintaining the campground, we use natural and recycled materials as much as possible. In doing so, we contribute to a circular economy and provide a natural look to our grounds.
